Overview

The Internal Support, Payments and SASTeC Division is looking for a Financial Analyst for the Division Support unit. As our Financial Analyst, you will have expertise in financial analysis, report development, customer service and time management. You will report to a Coordinator and will be the primary budget and financial reporting subject matter expert for your assigned business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budget planning process; including operating expense, capital investments, and personnel for assigned business areas
  • Manage and communicate budget status, variance analysis and forecast changes for assigned business areas
  • Design and coordinate summary financial reporting efforts across assigned business areas
  • Support ad hoc financial reporting needs
  • Develop and maintain internal procedures to ensure financial compliance with Federal Reserve System and District guidelines
  • Conduct performance metric reporting
  • Help complete the annual financial systems access and capital asset reviews
  • Complete assigned self-audits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field, or commensurate experience
  • 3 years of business and financial analysis including creating/managing budgets and report development
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design and implement practical recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines.
  • As a Financial Analyst you will have the ability to:
    • Work in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
    • Produce written material to sufficiently communicate at all levels of the organization.
    • Communicate orally to sufficiently convey information to groups and to answer questions/ facilitate discussion.
    • Keep confidential information as such.
    • Work well in a team environment
    • Work independently on multiple projects under time constraints and minimal guidance
  • Travel (5%)
