General Summary:


Do you have strong attention to detail and phenomenal customer service skills? We are looking for a new Credit Collateral Administration Analyst to join our Credit Risk Management (CRM) department.


The CRM department is responsible for the administration of overnight and daylight credit to Depository Institutions (DIs) in the Twelfth District through our Discount Window, Payment System Risk, and Condition Monitoring functions.


The Operations area of CRM is comprised of four functions: Discount Window, Payment System Risk, CMS (Collateral Management System) Collateral and the Borrower-in-Custody (BIC) Administration. In this role you will be part of the Credit Collateral Administration team, which falls under the Discount Window function, and will be responsible for accepting loan requests. You will also cross train in other areas of the department to provide adequate coverage as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accept loan requests in accordance to department and System policies and procedures
  • Review and process monthly collateral files accurately and timely, identifying exceptions
  • Ensure the financial institutions are using an approved encryption method to transmit the monthly collateral files
  • Confirm collateral status and seek approval from Federal Home Loan Bank if appropriate or required
  • Provide accurate information to DIs, or research and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Ensure management is aware of any exceptions and/or potential issues in a timely manner
  • Assist with processing vault collateral accurately and timely
  • Participate in System and local testing
  • Provide back up support as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related work experience
  • Minimum 2+ years related work experience
  • Works well independently and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to analyze complex issues with management guidance and provide resolutions
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task to handle competing deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to manage projects working collaboratively with other team members
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications:  Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
