Job Summary

Leads the development and coordination of the CRSO Channel’s strategic/business planning activities along with execution and tracking of strategic plans. Leads product, market/industry, financial and customer analysis of Channel product and business opportunities. Develops briefing materials and presentations for CRSO and System management as needed.  May provide input on training, supervision, goal development and guidance to staff. May make hiring recommendations and evaluate and/or provide feedback regarding staff performance. May provide work direction and check or approve others' work. The level of work required is considered advanced and must be able to work under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with CRSO, System and District groups on development, maintenance and implementation of CRSO Channel strategic plans
  • Develops metrics to track performance to plans
  • Lead or significantly contributes to the development of yearly and multi-year forecasts
  • Serves as a senior business analyst for internal or external CRSO related channel, channel products or access to the channel products
  • May manage small to medium sized projects to bring product and/or component enhancements to the electronic access channels
  • Performs analyses and projections of financial, performance, operational and statistical data and reports regularly
  • Develops cross-functional meeting agendas in support of assigned projects
  • Identifies customer and product research objectives, conducts analysis, summarizes results, presents findings and makes recommendations on findings
  • Reviews or prepare channel communications for customers or customer facing groups and prepares written memos and reports on special projects; and provides editorial consultations
  • Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system
  • Reviews Federal Reserve policy issues and the implications on the channel and channel products, particularly strategic issues including entrance and exit strategies
  • Participates in System-level projects and external customer meetings and accurately represents electronic access channels and business
  • Confers with personnel of organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific requirements
  • Communicates and collaborates on process redesign requirements inherent with the implementation of new technologies, coordinates the design, development direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures
  • Creates and updates information within CRSO’s systems of record, for example: SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, FedPPM
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below
  • 5 to 7 plus years of direct work related experience
  • Coursework in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • Experience in project management methodologies
  • Experience working within Agile software delivery processes
  • Experience performing specialized business analysis utilizing business analytics software, e.g. Tableau
  • Experience utilizing process mapping and re-engineering methodologies and tools
  • Experience with communicating at all levels, including, executives, technologists and business management

Knowledge and Skills

  • Independent thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possesses and applies both specific and broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the field of specialization to the completion of assignments
