Position Requirements:
• Knowledge: Advanced knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. Working knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies. Working knowledge of principles of supervisory leadership.
• Leadership: Provides working and day to day level of leadership and motivation to staff in a rapidly growing business environment. Also, the ability to influence others and gain support for ideas and action plans is required.
• Communications: Excellent organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements. Able to present information within all settings in a credible, confident and influential manner. Communicates in a concise, direct and purposeful way. Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to interact with anticipated audiences in a courteous, service-oriented manner.
• Risk Management: [The individual] is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline to ensure appropriate controls and risk management throughout area of responsibility.
• Decision Making: Works independently on broad assignments or under general directions as to scope or objectives. Responsible for planning and performance with no guidance or assistance on professional aspects of work except under unusual circumstances. Schedules daily work and provides direction to assigned staff, trains, and evaluates performance.

Preferred Experience:
• Proven leadership characteristics along with demonstrated technical leadership ability.
• Ability to build and promote a culture of collaboration and to lead with and without authority in a matrixed environment. A proven work history as a thought leader and a change advocate.
• Sound decision making ability – able to autonomously adapt based on a firm grasp of strategic direction.
• Demonstrated ability to foster and mentor staff maintaining a technically advanced team with vision forward-thinking ever changing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of change, incident, problem, release management processes etc.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, data, and technical details with desired business outcomes, and to produce sound analysis and recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills. Ability to influence and adjust communications to audience – senior executives through individual contributor.
• Ability to lead and contribute to multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously. Ability to deal with flexible priorities and work well under pressure.

Preferred Technical Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Perl and/or Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Axway SecureTransport and SecureClient.
• Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, WebSphere MQ, and ISAM (WebSEAL/TAM).
• Experience with F5 GTM/LTM.
• Ability to apply trouble shooting and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user community on issues related to design, development and deployment of business applications.
• Knowledge and experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting business solutions the bridge on premise and off premise infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of Cloud Solutions, Platform as a Service (Paas), SaaS, and software development technologies and methodologies.
• Experienced with file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPs/HTTPS, CD/SSP recommended)
• Experienced with application administration on RedHat and AIX, as well as Solaris and Windows.
• Experienced with general network application support and troubleshooting for server-to- server MFT applications.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and job-related work experience.

Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling more than 20 lbs.
Hours of Work: May require extended work hours. Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary. May be subject to on-call and call back as needed. May be exposed to moderate noise from equipment.
