Are you interested in working for an important public service institution whose work helps ensure economic stability?  If so, consider joining the Federal Reserve.  A unique opportunity is available in Minneapolis for someone with a Learning & Development background to serve all twelve Reserve Banks and the Board of Governors.  The Learning Management Specialist will curate online content and partner with internal customers to help them take full advantage of learning management capabilities.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing expertise in Saba Cloud and third-party online content libraries.

  • Building strong and sustainable relationships with customers by understanding their business areas, communicating effectively and meeting their needs.

  • Evaluating online content libraries, curating the best online content and setting up content in the LMS to maximize usage.

  • Consulting with customers and advising them on how to utilize application functionality to accomplish their objectives.

  • Coordinating, planning and executing solutions to meet the requirements of multiple customers and stakeholders across functions and locations.

  • Partnering with customers to set up and optimize their items in the LMS.

  • Working to ensure a good user experience in finding formal and informal learning items in the LMS.

  • Testing online learning and application functionality.

  • Creating and delivering communications, presentations and demos.

  • Keeping pace with the evolution of the Learning industry.

  • Managing vendor relationships.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 3 years direct work-related experience (5 years direct work-related experience for level III)

  • Experience in a L&D role (e.g. training consultant, learning and development specialist, instructional designer, training specialist, e-learning developer, trainer, LXP / LMS Administrator, digital learning specialist)

  • Knowledge of instructional design and digital learning trends

  • Experience with a learning management system or learning experience platform

  • Outstanding communication, writing and interpersonal skills

  • Customer-focused and diplomatic, with excellent follow-through

  • Agile in working with people at all levels of the organization

  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to ask the right questions to uncover a customer’s true needs

  • Intermediate-level skills in the Microsoft Office suite

  • Quick to learn new software applications

  • Comfortable exploring uncharted terrain

Other Information:
  • Must be able to work on-site at our office in downtown Minneapolis on a full-time basis
